The Red Brick Preschool has become my second home.  I love being able to work in my community, at my church, with wonderful staff and of course being with the children and their families.  Watching and helping these children grow and create a foundation for their future learning is the most amazing thing.  I truly feel blessed to have been given this opportunity to serve as the Preschool's Director. 

To tell you a little about myself, I was born and raised in San Diego.  I have worked with children since I was in high school, as a lifeguard at summer camps, at Sea World's Captain Kids World, a special education teacher and Occupational therapist assistant.  I guess you can say I have always known I wanted to work with kids.  I first got my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Arizona State and then my Associate's in Occupational Therapy.  I continued taking more early childhood and administration courses throughout the years.  I worked for a preschool/daycare for medically fragile and typical children for 13 years as a teacher, early interventionist, COTA, and then as their Director.  It was a wonderful experience and I learned a lot.   My husband, Will and I have two children our daughter Rylie and son Ryan.  Being at the Red Brick has given me the opportunity to be close to them and the chance to be involved in their day to day activities.  Family is so important and I want to spend as much time together as I can.
